Our literacy strategies are learned from top national educators and educational researchers. During your online tutoring session, an abcsforliteracy.com educator will assess your child's level and introduce you and your child to the literacy strategies most needed to expand your child's reading and writing ability. Then you will receive, via email, 3 or more skill documents (see example of one skill document) with specific literacy strategies for your child's needs. These support learning in the crucial practice time after the lesson. Learning is approached in a fun, supportive, and engaging manner and is focused on teaching the beginning reader and writer ages 3-7. Preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade children learn through reading and writing games as well as reading and writing activities that make children's literacy easy and fun.
